เนื่อง จากทางมหาวิทยาลัยให้หัวข้อมาเกี่ยวกับ “ผู้นำ” Leadership. หัวข้ออาจจะแตกต่างกันออกไปขึ้นอยู่กับคณะที่เราขอ หรือมหาวิทยาลัยที่เราต้องการเข้า…ตัวนี้เป็น School of Accounting at the University of Utah…ทราบว่าแต่ละปีหัวข้อไม่แตกต่างกันมาก…ส่วนใหญ่ที่เราต้องรู้คือ การเขียนเรียงความทั่วไป ตัวอย่างมีในการเรียน TOEFL หรือ ออนไลน์แหล่งอื่น.
สามารถนำมาประยุกต์ให้เข้ากับสถานการณ์ ของตัวเอง. เขียนดีอาจจะช่วยให้เราได้ทุน แต่ไม่ได้เป็นการการันตี เขาดูจากหลายปัจจัยด้วย…ถ้าเลือกเรียนในสาขาที่ขาดแคลน เขียน ห่วยยังไง เรียนเก่ง ก็ได้ทุน จากที่เห็นมานะค่ะ. ตัวเองร่างก่อนค่ะ แล้วก็เรียบเรียง หลังจากนั้นให้อาจารย์ที่สอน academic writing ช่วยดูอีกรอบ(แก้คำให้สวยงามเพิ่มขึ้นมา แต่เนื้อหาคือเหมือนเดิม). บางคำ เช่น confident and certain, certain จะเหมาะสมกว่าในการเขียน essay และ เป็นภาษาสูงกว่า…

Being a good leader has become very important in all organizations. It does not really matter how small or large the organization is, leadership is the quality necessary in a leader. Having leadership skill leads to a great amount of positive outcome for the overall of society. There are several important qualities that I have developed in my professional career. I have demonstrated those qualities through community service as below:

First, being a good example for the younger generation in my hometown in Thailand, I have seen more and more high school students get a college degree. I have set the standard for all farmers’ family that even if they are poor, they are able to have a good life. Being a farmer family, my family didn’t have money to send me to school, but I always remind myself that I needed to get a degree in order to escape from deep debts that all typical farmers have. Successful in education and having had great jobs, I was able to support my family. This example influenced more teenagers to follow my pattern as they want to be successful and help their family. It is known in my hometown that I am ambitious and always give good advice to younger people who need it from me.

Second, setting up goals for myself and teamwork is one of the most important things that I always do. I have had over ten years of experience in my field, accounting. For instance, while I was working for Japanese companies in Thailand, I was able to communicate effectively with other foreign bosses who are Japanese. In addition, I have helped and trained younger accountants to become more confident and able to perform their jobs without supervision. Most of them are able to run accounting system in a company and be part of management team.

Last, as I have been in the United State for almost four years, I have gotten to know a great number of neighbors and be a member of Thai Association in Utah. As I am still new to the community, I am hoping, sometime, in the future I will be one of people who lead the community. Being active member and participate in all activities and events, I will be able to use my knowledge and experience to help people as well as learning from them.

In sum, as per the above mentioned, I have set up my goals and I have been achieving them. The leadership qualities and skills have helped me to succeed. In addition, the positive result has improved the economy in my family and created healthy atmosphere all places I have been. More than that, I have been a good example for people. Sometimes, in the future, I would like to share my knowledge from what I have learned through the University of Utah for accounting student in Thailand. It is clear that having leadership quality not only brings the positive outcome to my family, but also the community.
